Kristine is a commercial VFX director known for telling lighthearted stories through a lens of color and fantasy. Her multi-faceted background in creative direction, animation and photography gives her work a visually striking charm that brings unexpected magic into everyday circumstances. She has directed work for clients like American Express, Bombas, Etsy, Facebook, L’Oréal and Verizon and Walmart.
Kristine was also recently recognized on The Drum’s 50 under 30 list as an outstanding woman in creative. As a first-generation Chinese-American female director, Kristine champions diversity in front of the camera and behind it. She believes that representation matters and, as long as we narrowly dictate who the storytellers are, a much larger message remains: some stories are worth being told and some aren’t.
Kristine is loyal to both coasts, splitting her time between NYC and Portland, Oregon.
