The Copenhagen Test with Simu Liu

For The Copenhagen Test, Mirada director Mathew Cullen teamed up with Simu Liu to build a lineup of influencer alter egos inside a pristine, studio-lit YouTuber universe where confidence is currency. 

The show’s premise – where reality isn’t stable and performance becomes survival – gave us the perfect excuse to give Simu a mild identity crisis of his own. One moment he’s a hyper-focused gamer, the next he’s a workout guru dispensing protein wisdom, then suddenly a master chef with very strong opinions about reduction sauces. 

Grounded, generous, and completely game to play, Simu embraced every genre we threw at him, flexing both his comedy and dramatic instincts as the glitch turned everything on its head.
