Art and technology merge to visualize the power of dance

Intel’s RealSense cameras create a revolutionary way to track movement and depth in real time. When you pair that technology with an artist’s eye and a dancer’s body, the possibilities are limitless. Mirada worked closely with Paige and Intel to create responsive, beautiful real-time animated projections tracked to the movements of modern dancer Paige Fraser. Using 18 RealSense cameras, the Mirada team was able to unleash her performance with a beautiful graphic language that captured her essence and mirrored her every move. The combined effect is a breathtaking example of what happens when artists and technologists work together to create an entirely new medium.
