Angel City Football Club came to Mirada at a pivotal moment: year five of the club, a new kit launch, and a clear mandate to evolve their visual identity into something more mature, more confident, and unmistakably their own. The challenge was translating that evolution into a living in-stadium experience, one that had to work across nearly twenty screen formats and scale to close to 2,000 deliverables.
We partnered with ACFC to develop a motion design system built around movement and dimensionality. Graphics that feel reactive to the game rather than wallpapered over it. From starting eleven introductions and goal celebrations to sponsor moments and fan prompts, every frame was designed to amplify the emotion already in the stadium and give fans something to react to.
An Exciting New Era
This visual direction uses glowing typography, selective chrome accents, and sunrise-inspired gradients to create energy, depth, and motion.
Soft blur and color bleed add movement while maintaining clarity, with chrome reserved for key branded moments to drive emphasis.
Dark backgrounds, perspective, and selective focus give the system an immersive, emotionally charged presence.
