When we’re sick, nothing matters more than sleep. And with NyQuil, you can sleep through just about anything. Working with agency Saatchi & Saatchi, director Mathew Miguel Cullen took this idea to its most hilarious extremes. In “Ladies Night,” a sick husband snores away while his wife throws an epic dance party with her girlfriends in the next room. In “Sunday Night,” the tables are turned, as a sick wife sleeps peacefully while her husband and friends have the rowdiest football-watching night this side of the sports bar. Mixing heightened comic performances and simple, elegant camerawork and transitions, the spots convey the power of a good night's sleep - and the knowledge that more good times are just around the corner.
